Leylan is a second-generation rider who grew up riding and showing with her mom in Cleveland, Ohio. At 15, she was invited to spend her first of many winters showing in Wellington Florida with Ashland Farms. As a junior she had many top results in the ponies, hunters, equitation and jumpers. Most notably winning the Zone 5 horsemanship Finals in 2011.

In 2012, she was recruited to ride for The University of Georgia as a scholarship athlete on the NCAA equestrian team. While competing for the University of Georgia, she won an SEC Title, a National Championship, and was both a 2nd team All American and SEC first team rider.

Leylan graduated as the Scholar Athlete of the Year in 2016 for the entire University with a major in Finance.

After graduation she returned to Ashland Farms an assistant rider and trainer where she spent 3 years working to train top level horses and riders. The horses and riders she worked with won multiple equitation finals and championships at every top horse show on the East Coast and Kentucky.

In 2019 she moved to Northern California to join the 2 Mutch Team, where she has blossomed as a young professional.

She has displayed an ability to shine in the show ring as well as a passion for developing junior and amateur riders. Her goal is to always bring out the maximum potential in both horses and riders.

She has a talent for matching horses to riders and has found 2MSJ clients horses

that have helped them reach key milestones in their riding.

As a true student of the sport you can often find her having lessons with Bert, watching videos, doing groundwork, all things to maximize her abilities as a young professional.
